Michael C. Daniel – Employment Litigation in Atlanta

Michael Daniel began his career as a Judge Advocate for the United States Air Force in 1984. He was immediately assigned to the largest employment discrimination class action lawsuit in the history of the United States Air Force, and Eglin Air Force Base Florida.  He was designated as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Northern District of Florida to litigate claims filed by base employees.  He finished his tour at Eglin Air Force as the head of the labor and employment law section.

Mr. Daniel continued representing the United States in employment law matters while serving as a United States Attorney in Macon, Georgia. He handled matters arising from the employment law class action lawsuit at the Albany Marine Base as well as individual lawsuits filed against the United States throughout the Middle District of Georgia.

Mr. Daniel carried the experience he gained though government practice in to private practice and has represented numerous employers in discrimination claims and wage and hour claims.

Mr. Daniel places great emphasis on employment law counseling. He notes that a well counseled client typically avoids most employment claims. Mr. Daniel has been retained by many companies to provide long term employment law counseling and representation, for the purpose of avoiding litigation, but if litigation arises, he applies his extensive litigation experience to attain the best result possible.
